The Modula foot pocket is a market leader, constructed with the most modern multi compound joining process to deliver a foot pocket that can offer comfort and suppleness around the foot where desired and yet have the stiffer compound under the foot pocket and heel area where power transfer takes place. The addition of the 29 degree to the rail system significantly reduces ankle fatigue during extended periods of surface swim and provides the ultimate in efficiency during the cycle thus requiring less energy to load the blade. The angle also makes it the perfect foot pocket for later upgrades in the Carbon Blades. The Modula Foot pocket is also wider than Traditional European foot pocket and we recommend if you are planning to dive without a sock that you go one size down.
Through extensive testing both in simulators and in the water, Cressi have proven the “RONDINE” Tail design in a fin improves fin control as well as keeping more pressure on the end of the blade during the kick cycle which improves overall performance. The Cressi Modula Impulse integrates this technology along with “ANTI-SLIP” water rails that further improve water flow down the blade and eliminates sideways slippage.
The Blade itself is made from the highest quality thermal plastic available which not only provides extreme shock, impact and stress resistance, but offers performance similar to Carbon fins due to its very soft compound. The Blade itself is 5cm longer than Cressi’s traditional long blade fins and is also manufactured with the 29 degree angle.
